Better to put your opponent on a range instead of asking yourself, does he have a T.

MP2 stats are fishy (depending on # hands). Usually this means he is hard to bluff against and you should exploit his calling behaviour by playing strong hands against him for value.

Let,s assume this flop range for MP2:
JJ-TT,AQs-A9s,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T6s+,AQo-A9o,K9o+,Q9o+,J9o+,T6o+

Hero equity is 57% on flop.

On the Turn Hero equity changes to 41% for same range.

You hold Top pair + gutshot on the Turn. Your need 1.62/(4)=40% equity to go all in here.

You could go all-in here give the equity, but I would fold the hand against a fish since he's most of the time betting for value. AQ or Tx are very likely for MP2 here. Against a tighter player I would shove here.

Another option is to check/raise on the turn. If MP2 goes all-in it is an easy fold.

It's been a while since I played nl2 but I was given the advice that when you have TPTK you just bet/bet/bet until you get raised. If you get raised you fold because they usually have you beat (people don't bluff or semi bluff enough on nl2).

So I think you played the hand perfectly! I think your bet size could be a bit bigger on the turn though. I'd bet 30-35c since he is a fish he'll call bigger with worse hands then yours. But overall well played ♠_thumbsup:
