Hello!

IPoker, $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $22.57 (112.9 bb)
BB: $20.40 (102 bb)
CO: $26.27 (131.4 bb)
BTN: $21 (105 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A A
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.46, BB calls $0.26

Flop: ($0.92) 7 5 T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, BB raises to $2, Hero folds

Preflop: Not much to comment. This sizeing is standard to me from the BTN and the SB.

Flop: Often have the best hand and bet for value. Then the BB raised. He could have some draws, but not that many. Since that, the fact that this player is relativelly unknown to me and his big sizeing, I decided to fold. Which options do you prefer? Think I could probably call the flop and maybe call him off.

BB: 25/21/42,9/29/33(3)/2,7/219 (VPIP/PFR/BBvsSB_FtST/BBvsSB_CtST/RtFlopCB/AF/H)

Hi,

I think you could still call flop. He seems to be defending a lot and could make a move with gutshot, overs and stuff like that. I think we have a call and we should see what happens on further streets.

His range is so wide on that raise you need to still call. Probably going to be more air in his range that value, so calling and even leading turn is OK. He likely won't bluff raise again and will call with his perceived value hands.

His VPIP/PFR don't really indicate a fish player.

It makes no sense for him to raise hands that beat your AA here bvb, since your range is pretty wide and his raise would generate quite a lot of folds.
I think this is most likely a stone bluff given a semi-dry flop+your wide range , or a OESD of some sort, which you crush.

Just think from other side. If You would be in BB place, would you Raise your nutted hands in here (sets, 2pairs)? You would call to look for more cards which SB raiser would hit on turn and then start raising to get money in. So from BB position CR in here is overall bad play BB is burning money with hes air, or he will not get enough money from his good hands.

My line from SB: cbet/call flop, x/call turn, x/call river
My line from BB: oesd - call, sets - call, overpairs - wont happen  pair of tens with bad kicker - call, no point to raise as we get in trouble with dominated tens.

Why would i call 75 for example? Ez raise to gain value from Tx, draws, overpairs, if he has them with his open size.

Alleen:
Are you betting so small with nuts here too?

Hey! Sorry for the late answer. Yeah, I would probably bet that small with the set on that particular board... Preflop, I always have that sizeing from the SB. Recentlly trying not to balance against fishes. So, if he was a fish, I would open bigger.

Thanks!

I open 40% from the SB. Have the same sizeing from the BTN and the SB, like the coach suggested me. With that sizeing I need 54% folds from the BB to be profitable (with 3BB raise I need 63%) and the players don't defend more to smaller raises, which makes my bluffs cheaper. I aggre that against fish I could raise 3bb or even more with value hands.

Isn't your life ultra hard when there is proper guy in BB?

I like that you're wide when you use such sizing.

Btw its "sizing" :)

We don't steal with just any hand and against any opponent. So, I don't see why would I have a hard life against anybody.

Thank you for the correction!
