Pre Flop: (pot: 2.63 BB) Hero has Q♣ 8♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (5.63 BB, 2 players) 4♦ 7♦ 9♠
BB checks, Hero bets 2.81 BB, BB raises to 8 BB, Hero calls 5.19 BB

Turn: (21.63 BB, 2 players) 6♦
BB bets 12 BB, Hero raises to 57.63 BB, BB calls 29.05 BB and is all-in

River: (103.73 BB, 2 players) 2♥

His flop raise looks totally fishy to me, so I decide to float his raise and take a stab OOT if he checks.

His turn bet again did not look strong at all to me at that time at all, but now in retrospective I am not so sure.

I decided that he had air, and since he still has 12k behind I decided to shove with some equity.

It turns out I was right this time, however I am not sure if I should take my ingame reads to such an extreme level.

What do you think of the hand?

Hi all,

Fold the flop, attack him with equity rather than with spew. Floating here just doesn't show a profit if he's spewy at all, because he'll just barrel the turn and make you lose money.

As played turn is fine I guess.
