BTN: $19.31 (19.3 bb)
Hero (SB): $192.80 (192.8 bb)
BB: $258.82 (258.8 bb)
UTG: $117.90 (117.9 bb)
MP: $15.11 (15.1 bb)
CO: $436.87 (436.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K K
2 folds, CO raises to $2.50, BTN folds, Hero raises to $9, BB folds, CO calls $6.50

Flop: ($19) 9 5 K (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: ($19) A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $11, Hero raises to $38, CO calls $27

River: ($95) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $88

Villain has 26% CO range. 33% fold to 3bet and 7% 4b. only 600 hands

What is the max ev gameplan for this hand?

1) bet three streets
2) bet flop, xr turn bet river
3)x flop, xr turn, xr river
4) the line I took

My rarional is that his range for calling my 3bet will be pretty wide. So if I check the flop I will get a bet from his air hands, but I am not sure if should be x/r or x/c. I think I would x/r

On the turn when the A comes, I check to induce a bet and get more value from his Ax hands and draws as he would be calling at least one time.

OTR I opted to bet pot to get calls from his Ax hands or 9x if he has any.

If the river was a brick like a 2, is it more profitable to xr again as FD and any gutshot missed?

5) check/call turn, check/raise river? :)

If you check this dry flop, to protect your range, I think you should check on the turn aswell, as you would with 9x,TT-QQ, and then check/raise on the river (check/raise KK, and turn some 9x into bluff). By check/raising turn, you rep only slowplayed monster I think, as bluffs cbets this dry flops almost always.

I kinda like the Ch/r on the turn, you only rep KK really, vs a nonbeliever this turn is perfect for it. Plus the board gets a little bit wetter.
If you ch/r this turn, i would bet the river big aswell, he'll call with alot of ax, as it's AA99K most of the time.

I'd surely not take line 3 on this river, he would checkback alot of Ax because he will think you either have a missed draw(which will fold to a bet) or the same hand or something better.

I don't think check/raise turn makes any sense, if you look at your whole range, and how would you play it. If we had some exploitive reads, that he is a big station or spewing vs raises on dry boards, then could be okay.

Yea i'd only do it vs a nonbeliever aswell. Ch/r turn does makes a bit more sense than Ch/r flop tho, as he would have a bit more hands to call with.

If u ch/r flop, you're basicly hoping for a setup vs 99. And even if he has that hand, it'll get in on future streets anyway. :P

I like your play. Checking Flop is clearly the best play IMO. It's hard for him to have many worse. I guess the board being semi coordinated makes a bet ok and I may consider betting if board had a flush draw on it.

If this were Blind vs BU, a bet becomes better as well because he will have many more stuff like 87s but not in CO vs blind.

Turn: Betting here basically folds out all hands weaker than AX. I think your line maximizes value against AX and you can take this line with air once in a while, turning a hand like 9X into a bluff. If it gets checked through, great because you get to showdown cheap.

Bluff with 9x here on river :)

If you raise river KK, and you plan to add some combos of bluffs, that impossible, because 3 combos KK, he has 30% pot odds, so it means you need to add 0.9 combos, which I rather wouldnt add to make it sligltly +EV call for him :)
