I'm looking to play on PokerStars in future and I worked out that by playing there you would earn 2.75 Status Pts per $1, I was just wondering whether this is right?
It's the least out of all the other sites I see but I'm sure the benefits out weight the negatives as far as traffic is concerned, or does it?

So if you want to know how much stategy points you will make by paying 1$ rake then that depends on what you are playing, because on stars you don't earn the same amount of VPP per 1$ rake, it differs . On microstakes you earn more. http://www.pokerstars.eu/vip/earn/#HowdoIearnVPPs
Your calculation of 2.75sp is correct when you earn 5.5VPP per 1$ rake so that means you have to play 6max NL16 or higher limit

I don't think this will be a major issue when I make my decision to play when and where but it's always good to know.
I only wanted confirmation as it was slightly different then how all the other affiliated poker clients worked it out.
