First hand of the FT, other 4 players just moved to our table, but they are out for this hand. UTG is a decent reg. Im not sure how to evaluate this hand (I cant use FT payout neither chip ev), and therefore not sure about range. Avg stack is 450-500K, no real shortstack got moved in (157K and 184K are two smallest stacks)

Id go with something like ATs AJo 66 KJs. Too loose or tight?

Hi all,

Post up all the stacks.

How you do it is put all the sit out stacks before UTG, adjust everyone's stacks to account for antes if they're significant (or lack of paying for antes), and assume everyone folds until UTG.

Here's how you model it:

So changes are: we've added the sitting out players, adjusted the antes to reflect the fact that they're not posting antes. Theoretically we should adjust the stacks as well to reflect the different antes, but the antes aren't really that big, so I don't think it's that important to do. For the payouts, I just pulled a random one from the hotter 55 last week.

This is your call range BU 9.7%, 55+ A9s+ ATo+, assuming UTG pushes 23.4%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ A5o K9s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QJo J9s+ T9s

I think both those ranges are actually quite reasonable, and if anything the blinds are going to be overcalling wider than JJ+ (which is what Nash assumes they call)
