Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♥ A♦

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, CO calls 7 BB

Flop: (21 BB, 2 players) 4♥ 5♠ 6♣
Hero bets 10 BB, CO calls 10 BB

Turn: (41 BB, 2 players) A♣
Hero bets 19.48 BB, CO calls 19.48 BB

River: (79.96 BB, 2 players) 8♣
Hero checks, CO checks

Spoiler

Hero shows T♥ A♦ (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 66%, Flop 55%, Turn 75%)
CO mucks A♠ 3♠ (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 34%, Flop 45%, Turn 25%)
Hero wins 75.98 BB

fold to 3bet 50%, from CO 1/4, or CO 21%. Probably better to flat pf? folds flop 4/6 times.

Should I bet bigger turn? I think he calls still 77, 88, probably also higher 2nd pairs at least turn, what do you think about blank river should I bet?

Hi GingerKid

Why 3-bet this hand preflop deeper vs a guy that doesn't show he is folding much?

And it's thin for value (although once we see his hand we can increase our value range).

As played why not bet river? I can see value. We lose to 77/88 and BFDs but still has some pairs (it's thin of course).

I was not sure if 3bet is better than flat, in party people dont like folding, so when i flop a pair there is a lot of value with bluff catch (bet flop, c/c down).

You consider just the middle pairs in his calling range, but what about Ax hands? I dont think he folds AJ+ on flop.

Does he really have many AJ+ though?

An aggro guy will 4-bet a lot of AQ/AK in these positions.

So yes, we can consider them but I don't think there are that many unless we have a reason to believe he flats all those premiums.

I am confused why people would be 4beting AQ in this spot, do you mean after having dynamics vs hero? (to call shove?)

Yes,

In aggro games like this where hero is also very aggro I can see a villain that has some history and is aggro to 4-bet AQ/AK for value (at least AQs).
