Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♠ K♦

fold, MP raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, MP calls 6 BB

Flop: (19.5 BB, 2 players) 3♥ J♥ J♦
MP checks, Hero bets 10 BB, MP calls 10 BB

Turn: (39.5 BB, 2 players) A♣
MP checks, Hero checks

River: (39.5 BB, 2 players) 3♠
MP bets 30 BB, fold,
MP raises 1-in 24%
Fold to 3Bet oop MP 58%
4bet+ratio MP 3.37%
Fold to CB oop 3Bet pot 74%
I think it's a good decision on the river vs a straightforward opponent.

Hi,

i would seriously consider calling this river, J isnt exactly in his range, he could have many broadways given his MP open and low fold to 3bet and then float the flop

while the A turn hits his range, the pot odds offered are around 30% and i think we are good here more than 35% of the time considering his wide range of missed broadways, missed FD and some hands going for thin value like TT 99.

Thanks

What worse calls villain if he bets 99/TT almost pot river?

Hi,

What do you mean Eskavus? Could you rephrase?

River I think he's betting a lot of busted flush draws, maybe some middle pairs.

Thanks

Which worse hands do villains expect to get called if he pots river for thin value with 99/TT type of hands? Seems way too optimistic in my perspective without dynamics.

Anyway If we were holding a K  would you still bluffcatch busted draws? Thank you in advance :)

Hi,

Firstly he is not betting hands like 99 TT so often, I'm guessing less than 25% of the time, hoping for nothing to call for a split.

More often we are going to see busted draws something like 30-40% of the time and then another 40-50% of the time we see Ax.

Given these numbers we still must call KK.

I don't think the K  makes too much of a difference, I'll still call.

Thanks
