NL5 zoom - 66 all-in with 2 oppo

Hello everyone, I just started to play on Pokerstars at zoom poker NL5 using HM2. This is my first hand posted and I'd like to have an evaluation, please. Sorry if I made some mistakes to post the hand.

I called the all-in because the opponent was a short stack and had also a 3-bet of 100% (only 6 hands though). Is it correct to call with a pair like 66 an opponent with short stack that seems to be a fish?

Hi, bambolina1992,

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com !

I don't know why the images did not appear.

The URLs clearly work when I do it.

So I copied your hand history so others could follow it better...

As for how you played the hand?
There are some things I would do differently if opening pocket sixes under the gun.
First, while I know that LOTS of people now advocate 2.5 BB open raises, I'm still raising 3.
That has no bearing on this hand, though, so let's skip that.

Next, TWO people really like their hands here. Even if neither of them has a better pair, they almost certainly have cards higher than sixes in their hands, and there are three more cards to come. The chances of those 3 cards missing all 4 of the opponents cards are not very good.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a coach!

Have a look at Equilab.

It says this about your hand:

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    28.56%  28.46%   0.10% { 66 }
MP3    35.72%  34.28%   1.44% { 88+, AJs+, KJs+, AJo+, KJo+ }
CO     35.72%  34.28%   1.44% { 88+, AJs+, KJs+, AJo+, KJo+ }

I used fairly wide ranges for the opponents -- if they are tighter, your situation is even worse.

Peace,

It would probably be best to fold.He has around 36 blinds and you really don't want to pay that amount with a pair of sixes, not to mention there's another player between you two that is also short-stacked and is more inclined to call than a big stack.
