He said that that call there, and that a fold there is a big mistake, really?
Pls elaborate the pros and cons of the shove/call/fold there.

Hi all,

in sat1337en's shoes: As the shortest stack there's quite little ICM tax, especially seeing as he doesn't have much room to play anyway. So I'm taking most +cEV spots here rather than waiting. So here vs a CO open-range even if he is correctly adjusting his range (which he is) given the presence of the short-stack in the BB, sat1337en easily has the requisite pot odds to call. Also, because the stacks are so shallow, sat1337en doesn't have much reverse implied odds here and he's going to be able to realise his equity in the hand pretty often.

Shove is a big mistake because J9o is not ahead or even close to ahead enough against Better C4ll's open-range, and we also have no fold equity. It's also not that hard to play postflop IMO.

Fold I quite dislike for the reasons above that make calling so attractive.. pot odds + antes are too significant to ignore.
