BTN: 312.6 BB (VPIP: 27.59, PFR: 20.69, 3Bet Preflop: 4.76, Hands: 59)
Hero (SB): 105.3 BB
BB: 138.74 BB (VPIP: 22.50, PFR: 12.50, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 41)
UTG: 146.52 BB (VPIP: 42.86, PFR: 28.57, 3Bet Preflop: 25.00, Hands: 7)
MP: 98.36 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 100.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
CO: 91.2 BB (VPIP: 24.89, PFR: 18.03, 3Bet Preflop: 10.42, Hands: 244)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♥ T♠

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2 BB, Hero raises to 7 BB, fold, BTN calls 5 BB

Flop: (15 BB, 2 players) 4♣ 5♣ T♦
Hero bets 8 BB, BTN calls 8 BB

Turn: (31 BB, 2 players) 3♦
Hero checks, BTN bets 17 BB, Hero raises to 40 BB, BTN calls 23 BB

River: (111 BB, 2 players) Q♠
Hero checks, BTN checks

Is it ok to c/r turn with draws, and KT+, JJ+, where I would shove JJ+, and c/c KT+? Size? The reason for just having c/r raise is that he bets most likely whole range to protect or with draws.

Hey GingerKid,

Preflop should be fine. Hand doesn't play especially well OOP in 3b pot but it has a blocker which should marginally increase our preflop FE.

Flop cbet for value is fine.

By default I would tend towards x/c turn although there may be some merit in a x/r here. We can potentially get called by draws etc - but not sure if we are really getting called by any worse made hands. But yeah assuming we x/r turn, x/c safe river is good.

Assuming villain 3bet ships turn what's your line?

Hi,

I think most villians will 4bet JJ+, so there are not so many better made hands except AT, but there are T9s, T8s, TJs, TQs, if we add some slowplayed premiums and sets there are a bit more better made hands, but then adding so many draws should be really clear value raise imo.

Vs shove I would have to call vs unknown frequency because I have also bluff raises in range, and if I fold my value hands then I will fold too much. Also he can shove draws for sure in 3bet pot.

Yup ok - I still think potentially on the thin side though. We still need to factor in potential chance of us getting bluffed out on river and not realising our equity etc. But yeah, if we assume opponent has a bunch of worse Tx in his range + draws and also doesn't really have JJ+ ever then x/r turn has to at least be +EV.

Yeah, well really comes down to whether he'd shove a balanced range. Might be correct from theory point of view, but exploitative I can see myself folding Tx some of the time to turn 3b.
