SB checks, Hero bets 7.2 BB, CO calls 7.2 BB, SB calls 7.2 BB

Turn: (31.6 BB, 3 players) 9♠
SB checks, Hero bets 15 BB, CO raises to 32 BB, fold, fold

Spoiler

CO wins 59 BB

villain is a lag other player fit or fold
I was 23/23 although normally 19/16
pre standard open
flop I hit tptk but am sandwiched when sb checks I bet out
turn 9 spades appears safe so I bet again and am raised by CO
I have no idea what he is doing and fold

so its villains play I am atempting to analyse
if he hit set on flop, turn changes nothing and he gives away hand strength
it would be an outrageous bluff with lower pairs or overcard and 2 players in hand
or my guess is he hit top pair good/top kicker and bluffed me off my hand

Hi,

Since it seems so strong I would also b/f turn without any reads. This is very often set and since you only bet half pot he likely needs to raise turn to get all the money in on the river. Also players would usually not bluffraise these boards, since your overall range is generally very strong.
I would prefer betting turn 22bb and then half pot on the river to get called KQ, QJ, maybe even TT/JJ hands.

If you don´t want to b/f turn or play for stacks then c/c turn and c/c river is always fine line to get more information about his pre-flop range and flop floating range.

best regards,
