Spoiler

$1.21 pot ($0.04 rake)
Final Board: Q 7 J 4 T
BB mucked Q T and lost (-$0.60 net)
Hero showed A K and won $1.17 ($0.57 net)

Preflop: raise for value

Flop: Against donk bet, it's either a weak top pair or a J-x IMO. I was more inclined to believe it was some J-x hand rather than Q-x.

I have a gutshot + two overpairs which is probably good, so I decided to raise his bonk bet and hope that he calls and checks turn and if unimproved I would check behind for a free river card.

Turn: I make the nuts so I'm value betting for value. The 10 makes a few two pair hands and it's not a scare card really for q-x because opponent still has top pair. Could I have overbet the pot?

Hi maythany,

Flop I would play more passive with a gutshot. Just call to see the turn. If BB checks the turn I think you should bet. (thats why you cal the river).

As played, you should raise bigger on the Flop. BB betsize is small so raising to 4x would be fine. This increases the betsize on later streets.

River play is fine. Over potsize will often make players fold on NL2.
