Villain is a recreational player. OTF I decided to 3bet and go broke. I think villain has enough draws and weaker Qx in his range. The Turn Jack is not the best card, but I think he is pot commited with his draws (now maybe +pair) and some weaker Qx. Sometimes he has junk anyways.

Villains isn't fullstacked and I wondered if I wanted to 3bet and go broke vs a full stacked fish or even deep. Whats your line then? 3bet and fold to a 4bet? Or just call the Flop raise?

Hi,

I think you're plan to stacking off on that flop versus recreational player is decent, but I would not be fist pumping at all, specially if we know villain has passive tendencies. And he does have a stack of 70bbs, a bit different than 40bbs. I would consider calling his raise instead of stacking off. And I would definitely call the raise for 100bbs deep. I hate the 3bet/fold plan.

That turn is really really terrible for us. QJ, JT, K9, 89 all got there,

Against an optimistic range we're doing okay:

Board: Q♥6♠T♦ J♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    56.19%  55.24%   0.95% { AsQd }
MP3    43.81%  42.86%   0.95% { TT, 66, AJs-ATs, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, 98s, AJo-ATo, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }

Versus a more pessimistic one we are not good:

Board: Q♥6♠T♦ J♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    37.43%  37.25%   0.18% { AsQd }
MP3    62.57%  62.39%   0.18% { TT, 66, AJs, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, 98s, KQo, QTo+, JTo }

I think it's close between a shove or a x/f (since I don't expect him to start shoving KT turn versus a check). I would still shove since we have 27% pot odds when we get called.
