was this a bad call? I figured i had enough outs for it to be a +ev play

Apart from the fact that i probably should have folded preflop to the 3bet

Hi,

pre flop call is definitely ok given we are IP and 140bb deep.

on the flop, this is a dry flop we are not representing much and our hand is strong. if we raise here we isolate ourselves against better hands and i dont think QQ+ TJ+ is folding so i would just call his bet.

Thanks

Alright, so i should just call his bet and then play depending on what the turn brought? I figured there might be value in raising but i guess the only people that would normally call me would be people that had me beat.

What if villain had gone allin straight away on the flop though? Should I call the all-in then or fold?

Hi,

In fact we are never folding any turn. If he goes all in the that's subjective, what is he going all in with? Is it always a set? Or are there a fair amount of overpairs and draws? Because we are deeper we need his range to be slightly wider. Most of the time it's still going to be a call though.

Thanks
