villain looks like a very straightforward player and i don't think that he is bluffing or shipping AQ.

Fold turn. He's a nit. Nits don't bluff. Like, never. I feel your pain. Poker is a rubbish game sometimes. I'm thinking of taking up starcraft instead. I've heard some poker players have made the transition and are doing pretty well. That or magic the gathering. That's where the real money is :f_p:

agreed with above analysis.

villain played well. 99 didnt hit flop but he figured the 9 on turn would not cause suspicion, when he hit, he got paid off handsomely, which is what happened here.

my advice would be to proceed w caution when you play postflop with high pp cos you are playing defense most of the time.
