Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has K♠ A♣

fold, fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.08, SB calls $0.07, Hero raises to $0.32, BTN calls $0.24, SB calls $0.24

Flop: ($0.96, 3 players) 2♦ J♥ Q♠

Turn: ($1.92, 2 players) 6♣
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($1.92, 2 players) T♥
Hero bets $1.30

I didn't really have any reads on these villains, so I didn't want to cbet the flop, because JJ or QQ is easily in their range. I'm not sure tho what would be the right play here? After the villain checked the turn I don't think it's possible that he has a set. Maybe he was bluffing OTF?

Hi,

With two overcards and gutshot I would prefer c-betting, since they should fold their small pp-s and maybe sometimes even AJ/KJ.

Players can often bet flop for value Qx, Jx, draws, Ax hands to then give up or go pot control on the turn, since you´re likely going to either c/f or c/c and it makes sense to bet half pot to take down pot.

best regards,
