NL4 Flush on river

turn - why not bet here? we can fold out many better hands like pocket pairs, the 8 and some A high floats

river - definitely not folding here, he could be check raising here K for value. and if he had something really strong he would have bet the river after you checked bac kturn

I agree with you on river, it was my mistake. However, I don't agree with the turn part because at this limit I very rarely saw a limp/caller PF folding on turn after he called my cbet on flop.

I agree with above comments regarding limpers. Iso-raising then cbetting is insanely profitable as they fold so much, so when he calls he has a strong range. I doubt we have sufficient fold equity. True, we have like 7 high so we should be more inclined to bluff but I think taking the free river card makes sense.
Trying to get the fish to fold is -ev.

This is definitely an over generalization here and betting Turn against a random NL4 guy is almost always going to be +EV

With outs to improve (and a bigger pot to win when you hit), you don't need too much fold equity to make this a profitable play. Maybe 20-30% is all you really need.

Villain can have plenty of Ace highs which would fold the Turn. I think he could very easily fold hands like 3X or 44 on the Turn too.
