FROM NL2 to NL50!!

Hello everyone, my name is Vaggelis, i am from greece and i am 25 years old.
First of all i would like to be excused for my english for not being as good as they shoud probably be, thank you.
So my ultimate longterm goal is not nl50 but its gonna take so much time so its better to consider that for now, this is the main goal.
I dont want to offend anyone but i would like to say that this is not like every other childish thread like "from nl2 to nl200 in a couple of weeks" or sth.
I AM A FISH, i am a BIG fish, my nickname in POKERSTARS is "vanos072" and you can all free check me as one of the whales to hunt :P.

The thing is i know just what i have to do, that s the difference , i may not be talented or even a micro reg, but i know one thing, i have to work!
I Have to work SO HARD more than anyone else as being a fish, and everything i mean EVERYTHING must in a very strict schedule an d i am willing to give my last breath on it
, damn i m gonna make it.
OK, very dramatic but the ultimate hard work and schedule are true.

Lets introduce in a few words myself. I AM LAZY AND GAMBLER, yes i admit it,its the first step anyway. BUT! i am willing to fix it.
i am the laziest person you would probably ever know, even if they the neighborhood was on fire and i wanted to sleep i wouldnt even bother look from my window to see whats going on.
So you got it, i am lazy and an other thing is that i dont even care on fixing it(so far).

ok lets go now on my poker playing history. I use to play poker since 2010 when ongame network was still cooperating with bwin, and i was a luck box i even
scored 11k prize for 1st place in Fulltilt mtt(vanos89).(of course i lost 1k in a couple of minutes in a 6max i think nl600). Since then i was playing for
fun of course without caring how much i would lose since i was profitable from that only win. ( i used to deposit 50$ or so).
From time to time i was trying play i little more serious (or so i thought) but i always failed cause i ended up playing my whole br in one, tops two mtts.

This time i am unemployed mostly not because i cant find a job( even in greece :P) but because i am so much bored to do a 9-5 job.

Thats me or i should say that was me. This person i hated it and i killed it.

Now this is a commitment to myself, i want to prove that i can manage something even if this is huge. And its going to be, you will see...

In a couple of days i am starting my "mission", i ve put everything in order for the first time of my life.
I m starting a diet programm(not that i need it that much i am 183cm, 85kg) but this is for detox.
I ve made my daily routine programm which is:

08:30 -> wake up
09:00 - 09:30 -> Studying 1st 1/2hour
09:30 - 11:30 -> Session 1
11:30 - 12:00 -> free time
12:00 - 12:30 -> Studying 2nd 1/2hour
12:30 - 14:30 -> Session 2
14:30 - 15:30 -> Free Hour
15:30 - 16:30 -> Studying 1 hour
16:30 - 18:30 -> Session 3
18:30 - 19:30 -> Studying ME(my hands analysing, sessions, etc.)
19:30 - 20:30 -> work out (gym)
20:30 - 00:30 -> Free time ( GOING OUT )
00:30 - 01:30 -> relaxing get ready for sleep
01:30 -> Sleep

My poker sessions are 3xDay and 2xHours each.
Studying i mean books, training videos, etc.

My current br in Pokerstars in which i ll be playing, is now 6$. I ll start with this one
playing nl2 ZOOM 4 tables. Of course i ll add fuels if (when) i go broke on this 6$, but i am doing this just in case i start with an upswing and i can always say that i build everything from
6$ :P.

I already told you am unemployed, so i have a bit hard time with finances, i bought HEM and fixed my pc so i dont have a coach (if anyone offers for free god
bless him ) nor a gold member in cardrunners(this one for a couple of months till i save some money to subscribe) so i ll have to go with free training videos, forums etc. (pokerbooks
i have a lot from a friend and there is always utorrent :P)

Every morning for the next two months just to get in a line i ll post tha graphs from previous day, end of the week weeks graphs, moths moths graphs.
I ll also post the hands with the biggest (-net) and i ll comment em and here i please you to comment them as well. Even this is hard for me i feel embarashed
to expose myself on this blog but still this has to be done, i must be determined to accept every bad feeling such as same, exhaust and keep moving forward
till i completely crush the game, and then i will know that i have solid bases, and i will believe in me more than ever. Everything that has to be done WILL be
done. I promise that to you and to me.

THANK YOU!!
GL ALL!!

Hello, thank you very much :)
As for the offers unfortunately, i cannot use them, at present in greece we are not allowed in most of these sites(even they have blocked their web pages) except pokerstars where i already have an account :/

hey vanosv89 i'll be reading your blog! you should post some hands.

$6 in stars but 4 tables of nl2 zoom? how will you accomplish this? unless... you play with <100bb? if you would like to not be a fish you should only play with 100bb and have auto-rebuy enabled if you fall below 100bb otherwise your opponents will say στα αρχίδια μου :f_cool:

good luck with your goals and your diet, hope you manage to stick with it.

Hey guys!!
thank you all for the support! :]

Goodmorning everyone, i woke up about 4 hours earlier and now i really cant sleep again, but i expected a few days to adjust the sleeping time.

So, here is the 6th August GRAPH , i had a problem with my HEM but i used fpdb, its a free software to get the graph to you.

It was much better than expected, i did have that upswing i hoped and now my br is at: 33,58$ :)

@ DrDunne: hahaha thank you my friend, i have to tell you that i started with 2 tbles NL2 ZOOM and auto rebuy at 100bb but when i reached 7$, i opened the 3rd table and so. :f_biggrin:

I ll post 2 hand with the highest (-NET), the first 2 with -net in the list are 2 times KK<AA so i wont bother with them that much.

Here they are. In the first hand i have this feeling that i could play it better and the second maybe has leaks. here they are:

In this case couldnt avoid it because of the turn, which doubled the board and didnt fill any flush or str8 draw. But now i m watching it, i dont think i should have

2nd i dont have many hands against my opponent but.. VPIP/PFR 61.9/9.5 (21 hands)

So it was a stadar play imo till the river, where i think there is the leak.. I dont think i shoud call that river bet, even against a fish (no offend, as it comes from numbers)
i think the pots are played so passive where, this kind of action cannot be called by my TPTK...

Thats all guys for yesterday! :)

+1 to @tomaloc.
Generally call flop raise turn is the nuts. Even top 2 can be a fold vs this line. Vs. Flop raises flatting is ok as fish can raise their medium to weak hands cos they don't have a better plan. But if they then pot the turn you are in bad shape.

I'm rocking NL5 also so look out for any of my raises. They're always the nuts :f_cool:

yeah... fold!! A common leak people have at this stage is that they can't fold easily their top pairs.
