Hello, I have been doing this sort of bluffs with AJ and AQ once with a suited connector against a reg with like 9-10 for sqz on the specific position.

I calculated that if the dead money is already 20bbs and I have 100bb stack (or similarly proportional) it is +EV

It worked 5 out of 6 times and the one time they called I got lucky and tripled up lol.

Anyways I wanted to ask is this a good move to be doing, and I was thinking that I should probably balance these bluffs by shoving monsters as well in these situations...

Hey BotiaKiraly,

Can easily be +EV in a vacuum. Can be a little harder to balance though. You have to make sure you are smooth calling an appropriate amount of premiums so you can back-shove. This is awkward with stuff like AA/KK because you are inviting a multi-way pot the times when you don't get squeezed.

I generally don't try to balance this line, I just avoid using it too frequently. It's a good line for exploitation in a vacuum but not the greatest idea from the point of view of overall gameplan potentially.
