SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♦ J♠

Hero raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, CO calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (10.5 BB, 3 players) 4♣ 7♠ A♥
Hero checks, MP checks, CO checks

Turn: (10.5 BB, 3 players) 8♠
Hero bets 4.99 BB, fold, CO raises to 15 BB, fold

Spoiler

CO wins 29.47 BB

CO bets vs missed cbet 65%. I didnt want to cbet, because there is no 3 streets value, probably not even 2 streets. Is fold turn ok? I think regs are not balanced for such line, after check flop?

Hey GingerKid,

Preflop fine.

Fine to check dry flop, we can also just bet super small.

It's probably a reasonable spot for villain to bluff-raise on the turn given that we don't cbet - however that doesn't mean he necessarily will bluff, so I think bet/fold turn is probably fine.

Why is it a good spot for villian to bluff? I surely have in check range Ax hands, and he checked back on flop meaning he will get vs average player less credit for raise.

I don't think we should expect him to expect us to protect our checking range with Ax and sets. Our range is weak and he should have FE. Obviously we can think about the situation on a bunch of different levels, but the fact that we are seriously considering just mucking AJo here is another reason why I think it can't be a bad bluff.
