Hey guys!
Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.05(BB) Replayer
SB ($5.79)
BB ($5.74)
UTG ($5.09)
UTG+1 ($5)
CO ($5.61)
Hero ($12.64)

Dealt to Hero 4♦ 6♦
Is it a fold preflop ip already?, I call many times with this kind of hands, hoping to hit hard, if not I am folding.

UTG calls $0.05, UTG+1 raises to $0.20, fold, Hero calls $0.20, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.15

FLOP ($0.67) 8♦ 9♣ 2♥
not much to do in the flop, even if they checked to me, and showed weakness.

UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

TURN ($0.67) 8♦ 9♣ 2♥ 7♦

UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, UTG calls $0.50
Now I got a flushdraw and a strightdraw, and the originalraiser bets. To be honest, I dont know what I was thinking here, I couldnt put him on a hand. a hand that raise preflop, checkflop, and raise the turn when a 7d comes.
UTG raise range is usually 77+ and AJs+ (correct me if i am wrong). I decided to call, and the utg1 called.. ( if the utg reraised, I was folding).
RIVER ($2.17) 8♦ 9♣ 2♥ 7♦ 3♦

UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $1.57, Hero calls $1.57, UTG calls $1.57
at the river when I hit my flush. the UTG+ raise 70% of the pot. I couldnt be more confused here, He maybe had TJ, set, 2pairs, maybe a higher flush... anyways, I decided to only call, because I found out, if i reraise, I am going to get card of hands that beat me. so only a call. Lets say I won the hand, Did i play the hand wrong anyways? and lets say I won the hand, Did i play the hand right?
Thanks

You don't have to call the large turn bet here. You might sometimes be up against a higher flush draw. And if you hit you get into a very tough spot. I think both of the players can have flush draws.

As played I would have only called to, and if UTG check-raises river I would fold. You might lose value sometimes, but maybe they wouldn't call you down with let's say 77 or TJ.

I feel a little differently about it.

I would fold preflop most times but I'm a nit preflop.

Flop: let's face it, raiser didn't hit this very often and the limper is a limper - I bet 2/3. If I get raised it's easy fold.
Turn: I gain more outs (nice) - bet 1/2 pot if checked to me, call if a bet goes out but proceed with caution.

River is a call, we only get called if we push by a better flush usually, something like AdJd or whatever, but we played to hit this so not folding it unless a villain shoves.

Disclaimer: I am of course a fish and I tend to be a bit aggressive when people show weakness on certain board textures.
It's the way I would have played it but I wouldn't claim it is the correct way.

Preflop I would fold calling at this point makes no sense, rest of the hand I think is played well.
