Hi,

even though I only have 50 hands, it is obvious that he is very tight so I just call. I don't know if it is a good strategy, but against someone who folds too much to 3bets I would normally 3bet here.

Flop: I did not 3bet, because his range is very narrow, not the best texture to slowplay but I have good implied odds if the board doubles up and a river card can make a lot of change on this texture so I just called and wanted to pick up from there.
Turn: I felt I was ahead so I took over the lead and when he 3bets at that time I put him on either JJ or flush, but now I put him on overcard because he seems like protecting and it makes sense now ...
River: He shoves, it is still possible he had KK or AA but more likely the JJ or flush.

Next time I am just gonna 3bet/call on flop ...

thanks

Hey Pityumeszi,

Definitely fine to just call preflop here vs an MP open.

Hand is strong enough to x/r fop but x/c is fine.

Turn lead is fine. It's good to bet/call here especially given we have outs.

I think river should be a x/c here seems a pretty tight fold. Villain can even be value-betting worse hands.

With second highest set you are supposed to go broke 100bb deep - even with a 3-flush on the board.

You lose to about 9 combos (top set + flushes). You win against about 18 possible combos (say AA/KK + JT) that must be discounted. Discount them to 5 combos only. (That could be 4 top two pair combos (JT) + one bluff) You would still have a mathematical call.
