What range would you open in this spot vs 3 shovestacks? No reads.

BB would call too wide, that's why I would play with a wider openshove range:
openshove: 22-66, A8-A9o, A2s-A7s,
raise: X8s+, XTo+, 77+

Hi all,

I'm definitely opening any ace and any two broadway hand here. Openshove suited broadways except KJs+ and 22-44, raise/call 55+, KJs+.

It seems we have a very different oppinion here. My thinking that bb will call a lot, thats why I would put K8s, 78s J9s, JTo hands in my range instead of A2o-A7o. On the other hand I would put 55-56 A8o hands in my push range, because we enough Eq but dont want to play postflop with these hands.

Hi all,

IP I think the playabilty of hands like A2o-A7o is fine. OOP without the initiative these hands are hard because a lot of their value is 1. showdown value vs not many bets on dry boards, and 2. check/calling 3 streets on Ax.

IP we can just take it to showdown easily.
