are online (live) casinos rigged?

I saw the below job advertising for the major live casino company 'evolution gaming', this is the company whose services are used by virtually every major online casino (I am referring to the casino room with the pretty ladies that are being streamed online on said casino sites). Now under job duties it states the following:

1. To control the process of the game at the table, as well as in the system on the computer
monitor.
2. To ensure the correct outcome of the game.

Now, call me paranoid, but what else can point 2 mean than 'to ensure the correct outcome of the game', i.e. the outcome that is in the interest of the house.

I have been playing online casinos on the same sites that offer online poker from time to time, and always put other players' suspicions down to conspiracy theories and sour grapes. But this has made me suspicious indeed.

Any thoughts on this?

Hey beachbum29,

That is likely to mean the operator would require a great level of accuracy. Everything the Live Dealer does has to be entered into the computer system so it can be evaluated and players can be paid for their winning hands

The correct outcome for the house in this case is that what's entered into the software matches what the live dealer does at the table.

Regards

Laz
