Hi,

If you had solid image then just shove pre-flop.
He is not going to call you AT type hands.
On the turn I think raise to 25k looks very sexy. I don´t think he is going to fold Ax hands, but you get him to fold his air (or maybe he is shoving draws) and you don´t have to worry about river decision.
You can shove on 9, T, spades and check back all the other cards and since your line looks very strong then I don´t think he is randomly going to call turn to then shove blank rivers.

Best regards,

Best regards,

dint want to shove cos this MTT has great structure and some one can wake up with hand, and imo 3bet with shorties in blinds looks stronger

Hi all,

You can sometimes flat this preflop. It looks very strong too. Anyway 3betting should be fine.

Flop check back standard.

Turn call very standard, why do you not want to call here? Let's see a 5th community card, dealer!

As i said i didnt flat cos he was agro and was thinking that if i flat someone behind will sqz
I raise that turn to make him fold some overcards to 9 and take value from worse pair/combos

Why raise turn? You have Ax that decide to pot control flop then you would always flat turn. If you raise you rep so few hands so any better hand will call you. If you call turn you rep so few bluffs if you then bet vs river check and it's very hard for him to bluff you.

i agree that we r not representing much and check is fine ~ standard but i dont think he has a lot of AX hands in his range + i think he shoves all of his PP pre flop so imo is not that much that he can have there that had me beat so i raise for value and protection...

i was really surprised with the hand he had tbh... what u think about villain hand/play???

I guess he doesn´t want to fold pre-flop :)

Hi all,

I've seen others do this. Equity on A-high boards is decent. With such shallow stacks I think the reverse implied odds are not really that bad. I wouldn't call here personally (or raise in the first place) but at the same time I wouldn't say it's super bad at all.

BTW protecting your hand against 4 outs or whatever just isn't necessary.

man u dont know what u r talking about
First if u r talking about AA hand if u knew what u r talking u will realize that there was certain dinamic in game with 3 beting and stuff and i cant take value from nothing on river or flop cos he is ether folding or ch/r
About second hand 9Ts vs A7 the board is dry and stacks r shawow so i can easy check all value hands sets AX etc as i did previosly with AA and get stacks in on turn and river cos villan was stabing every time some one give up initiative...

@Chenny the raise wasnt for protection of 4 outs it was mix merge raise i think he had a lot of combos that i' m ahead and go on with them and sometimes he will fold beter hand then mine like J9s or smth or go on with flash draw + face cards

Come on guys, there is no need to insult each other while discussing a poker hand. It's a poker hand.

the rebus
the problem is you think you know what are you talking about, and fyi you are the 3 bettor and checking flop after you 3 bet pure stupid play with no reasoning, and A hand yeah check it down for all to see how poorly you play....and if you get c/r so what , thats the problem with you donk grinders you want to get a solution for every qustion you have instead of realizing it for yourself, you are uncapable of reading the game, because of your braiwashed selves filled with all sorts of theories that you use on plain dumb heads/tails game , get it poker is not black and white, is not Q and A and nothing is certain and there is no reciepe that Will show you the outcome of any given situation before you even enter it.

It wasn't targeted at one person specifically but rather everyone that was insulting someone. I just see no need for it.

Hand is mostly played fine imo. I would think about flatting pre as well, but the 3bet is fine.
Check behind on flop is standard.
On the turn I would just call him to see the river. That way I keep the bluffs in his range.
If I raise he folds all worse hands while he calls or pushes all better hands. I'd rather call turn and decide river depending on the card.

Regards,
Asaban
