My tought proccess

i played 16 hands with villian... and his stats are 16/9 no 3bet 1 of 1 cbet on flop, 1 of 1 cbet on turn, 0 played hands on river

preflop: its standard raise... after his 3bet i just called because i have very good hand.. a dont want to loose him with my 4bet... i want that he stay in hand so i can get more money from him

flop : i dont have idea what he have.... on that flop he can cbet anything 99+ , AT ... so i threat my call as value call

turn: before his bet my thought were if he bet under .8$ i would call to see river ... he cbet turn... i think that average player wouldn't be agressive two time if he don't have atleast overpair... so my call wasnt option at all... maybe all in or fold... i think that fold was more +EV move.. i dont know how to calculate it, so I dont have matematical proof for my feeling about it

i appriciate any thoughts how to improve my play in similar situations..

Tnx, Djolus

Hi DjolusVicenus

Preflop: calling and 4-betting are fine. You have a premium hand. I hope you don't call becasue he was 16/9 after 16 hands...

Postflop: As played how can we fold a hidden nut flush draw and two powerful overcards that are likely outs aswell?

Even without implied odds your pot odds are generally enough here.
