The BTN is an unknown player. The 9 on the turn is not the best card but nevertheless I shoved the turn as I'm beating most possible combinations there (44+ except for 99 and everything else upwards of connectors like 76+ except for JT (or T6 which is very unlikely to be in his range)). Also some fishes shove their flushdraws on boards like this. In retrospect I'm thinking I should have cbet a tad larger to protect and get most value from draws? I still think the shove on the turn is not a bad route to take against an unknown player. What do the coaches think? :)

Hi there! I def. bet flop much bigger. Fish is never folding a draw or a pair, so you need to make him and protect! So I bet 220-250. Turn is def. not the best card, but not the worse either- there is still value to be taken, I will bet it and if I get a c/mini raised like this(which looks strong), I will just flat. I am thinking that most people will either c/sh or donk 2 pair on the turn. Draws will either call down or raise on the flop(usually), so we don't feel like we are in great shape. So I will flat the turn min raise and play the river with caution-fold on a big bet, especially on this riv and possibly call a small one.

I like turn shove over call or fold. With call pot is going to be 1800 and 1050 behind. Villain is also unknown meaning that any 9x could be nuts to him. Idea to call and give up river decent amount with bit over half pot behind seems pretty absurd and high risk to me.

p.s. Yes-I bet more on the flop and then just ship the turn.

A completly agree with ghaleon.

As it was said the 9 it isnt a good card but it is a bad card either! It changes our equity vs JT and 99 which it should be often on his range! I do like the shove on turn over call or fold. In other words, shove>call>fold.
