I would MR 100% of my range. The only situation where I might choose to shove some hands is when facing 2 or 3 very aggressive re-stealers. I would MR this.

hmm ok. actually most of my regs just shove. i started to mr this spots but actually it didnt seem to go well... ok where would you say is the boarderline here? like if i have 420 same spot, shove already becomes good compared to mr?

I would say 14+ BBs is a MR spot and <14 is a shove, but it also depends on the opponents and the hand and whether you want to be completly balanced. If you do not need to be balanced (ie. you are vs a lot of fish or bad players) you can just shove the close hands and MR a polarized range. If you want to be balanced you can shove everything or MR everything. A big difference between the mid-stakes and the high stakes is the reg's ability to perfect this balance between MR and open shoving. High stakes regs tend to MR way more often because it opens up smaller exploitable edges in r/c r/f ranges.

thats the problem. i understand that MR should be better but i have no clue what range to call 3b with. how do i identify what he shoves? if i just call nash range i might exploit myself because reg can 3b only top range and call some of the worse hands. i cant construct his 3b range from seeing one hand in year he happened to show on showdown. im also likely to not pay attention playing other hand on other table.

It always depends on the player. look at their stats to start. some regs will 3b only value 77+ AT. some regs will reshove semi-bluffs like Axs and 22+, QJs. you can r/c hands like A9s against aggro regs and much tighter against tight regs. If you are against tight regs you can steal much wider because they fold more, if you are against aggro regs you steal tighter. I suggest playing around with an ICM program to find your r/c range against certain ranges. You can input a custom game and make yourself the BB with your raise amount as the BB and the re-shove as the open shove (hopefully that makes sense), this will show your approximate call range.

Your position is also important, regs will re-shove wider in SB v BB compared to CO vs BB. You have to adjust your r/c range in different positions because their reshove ranges will be different.
