cbetting one is probably a waste of time here as his mid pps are calling one at least so I have to think about barreling two to get him off these. Either that or I should be giving up flop w/ a lack of equity. When he checks back turn to bet river I don't image pps are in there really as I harldly give them much value w/ my range so maybe I should bluff catch here vs his random overcards to try bluff river.

Hi Legand

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: The turn card is pretty meh to barrel on and try to get him to fold anything. So checking back is fine. If you were to go by your limited information and assuming he doesn't float light river fold is ok... vs guys taht can float broadways we can't fold river.

Do you think it's more common or uncommon for guys to float overcards. I would think that they would tbh but not sure (so maybe river is a call).

It depends a lot on player, position and history.

It's more common nowadays for them to float but he is still OOP in a 3-bet pot so I wouldn't expect a random Kx...

However, most guys also don't bet hands like 77 on the river so what's left? Some rare Tx and JJ (and even JJ may check).
