Préflop

discutable, but got the BU, a hand that flop a little well, and position against CO who is kind of decent reg tight (Big NLHE player but who's not gambling much at omaha games), and with position I think i can drive well with this hand

Flop

discutable one more time, with random J high Flush 3way.

3way, he may not be cbetting with nothing in this drawy board (even if there're two baby cards).
But ye, not too much connected board, and two baby cards, he can be value/protecting some bare overpairs, AJxx/KJxx or whatevere

got FD J, good backdoor straight draw with my JQTx connecting the xx9, and position.
Cards on who I could outplay him or at least bet with some equity

Turn

Decide to use my hand as bluffcatcher/valuethin river.

Don't want to be c/raised here
moreover, if I check turn / bet river, he could see me on some bust straight draws etc... who's bluffing and call more light

River

value some hands/catchers

when he c/pot here I thought "lol nut blocker"

indeed,

1- he's polarized here
2- i thought special that he would check two times the nut flush here ('m not going to bluff automatically here too)
3- maybe he doesn't felt it to play it as nut flush, bet turn hand having to make the 3barrel to get me out river, so he decides another thing
4- check turn, rebet river should be catched too often by me since I have a flush. So maybe he thinks that he would have far more FE by c/raising river instead of betting
5- his sizing seems me very loud here

so I call, seems ok ?

Hi,

if he is a decent player he won't suddenly rep the nut blocker otr if he didn't ott. There's also a str8 flush combo, but those usually bet river. The decision wether to call or fold is really opp dependant. But this is usually the nuts, as the blocker bets ott as it is happy to make 2 pair fold. It makes no sense not take the FE with the blocker ott.

Regards,

Skod

I have seen that line few times and it has been blocker bluff every time (if I recall right). The thinking process for villain might be that he tries to check-raise turn but when it goes check-check he knows that hero is likely to call one bet on the river. So the only way to make hero fold non-nut flush is to check-raise.

Of course that is the exact reason why it's good to check-raise the river with the nut flush too. But most of the times people will bet the river themselves as they are scared that hero might check back and they miss 2 streets of value.

If there isn't any history from these situations (which is strange as you have over 8K hands together) I would call and make notes.
