I downloaded fulltilt poker through your link after passing the quiz and received the starting capital but now I,ve brought a new laptop, do I need to download fulltilt through pokerstratgy to continue receiving strategy points,rakeback etc

No it shouldn't really matter since the account has already been created. It won't hurt however to just download it from the same download link again
