SB: $35.90 (179.5 bb)
BB: $20 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $20 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 Q
Hero raises to $0.45, SB calls $0.35, BB folds

Flop: ($1.10) 9 T 2 (2 players)
SB bets $0.75, Hero raises to $2.10, SB calls $1.35

Turn: ($5.30) K (2 players)
SB bets $2.65, Hero folds

SB- 24/14 over 249 hands, AF 2.3 resteal 9% (45) Flop donk 19% (9)

The original plan was to put pressure on his donk considering how dry the board is and how he doesn't rep that much aside from some draws and weak pairs but when he leads twice I decided to abandon.

Hi legand

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: put pressure as in turn your hand into a b luff? what better gives up... your hand is a simple bluffcatchers vs this type of player and line.

As played you are just building the pot up for no apparent reason and once he donks turn small we should raise it again and continue with the plan.

I do seem to forget this sometimes that we do have some SD value. I'm also keen to apply pressure for the purposes of taking the pot down and building the pot up to take it down later when he gives up on his draws.

It does seem quite a strong line to donk/call to then donk the turn (i.e taking initiative back again). Why do you think he can still be weak? It definitely still does seem weird though because his strong hands would just raise flop if they wanted to their foot on the throttle.

Bet size, and line overall.

This can be a hand "block" betting or inducing, not much else usually.
