Okay so here's my thought process (in bold):
partypoker - $5+$0|50/100 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
Hero (CO): 2,170
BTN: 1,340 (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 18.10, 3Bet Preflop: 2.70, Hands: 138)
SB: 1,760 (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 8.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
BB: 1,940 (VPIP: 13.33, PFR: 12.36, 3Bet Preflop: 3.51, Hands: 2,374)
UTG: 6,110 (VPIP: 41.18, PFR: 19.35, 3Bet Preflop: 11.11, Hands: 34)
UTG+1: 1,790 (VPIP: 41.67, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
MP: 2,090 (VPIP: 8.33, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
MP+1: 2,800 (VPIP: 41.67, PFR: 30.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
SB posts SB 50, BB posts BB 100
Pre Flop: (pot: 150) Hero has Q♣ J♣
UTG calls 100, UTG+1 calls 100, fold, fold, Hero calls 100, fold, SB calls 50, BB checks
UTG and UTG+1 are unknown fish. I have a semi decent hand which I'd like to play but the blinds are a tad too big to raise after the limps, I'd commit 1/4 of my stack in the pot already. Had there not been the limpers I would have raised of course. So I decide to try and limp + check/fold the flop if don't hit.
Flop: (500, 5 players) Q♥ 2♦ 9♥
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets 500, Hero calls 500, fold, fold, fold
So the pot sized bet is a bit scary... but I do have the top pair and an alright kicker. I'm not ready to raise but wouldn't like to fold either. Also I believe there may be some bluffs in his range. So I decide to go with calling the bet and reassess the situation on the turn.
Turn: (1,500, 2 players) T♦
UTG+1 bets 1,190 and is all-in, Hero calls 1,190
I get an OESD on top of my top pair and it was not a
either so I call the all in.
River: (3,880, 2 players) 7♣
