Hi, the hand was played vs 3 lose, weak opponents. Should I be more inclined to sqz these kinds of hands? it seems I'm priced in to call ott, however I'm not sure about my river call, at the moment I didn't know about his bluffing tendencies, and it looks the Q♣: is my worst out.

Hi,

no don't squeeze. Your hand plays fine mw, but when you squeeze you just create a scenario when you will get the money in too often with a flip. And when that happens, it doesn't matter if you are better than your opponents. So just squeeze really strong hands that flop nut draws; that means strong aces, strong broadways with nut suits etc...

Here river is a sick spot. When villain pots the turn i honestly consider a fold here. He is potting into the table here, and you are potentially drawing very slim if someone has the nutflush here, and another one a set which they are repping. Also, BB is left to act behind you, so here you are just going to loose a lot in the longrun imho. River is a ridiculously sick spot. If villain barrels a lot you cannot fold. Vs a passive player, even with the odds, you could definetly find a fold. But you should avoid this spot by folding turn.

The thing is BB has 5$ ott, so if he calls, I'll need about 20% EV in the main pot (I think we could rule out nfd or any other strong hand, because he would've leaded or x/shoved flop), and I have 30% HU vs utg's top set. So in this circumstances is it still fold ott?

-thanks, Max.

Hi,

i didn't notice the guy behind was so short. Ok so you need 33% or better to call turn without him calling. And the problem with him calling is that he could have a hand that has you crushed. For example if you had the same hand but with the NFD, the fold is out of the question. But here it's a bit weird. Because even if you have the the best club draw, someone, or even both of them could have a worse flush draw, and that means 2-4 less outs for you as well. It's a close spot. I'm not going to say it's a fold 100% of the time with the BB being short, but you have to be really careful chasing nonnut draws.

Skod
