Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
I'm Scott, and I'm currently at University and for about a year I've been watching Pokerstars on TV every Tuesday.
So I thought I'd try Poker for once just a couple days ago.
I've played in four freerolls on Williamhill and so far I've managed to make it into the money 3 times out the four and all four freerolls had 3000 entries (3000 was the max allowed)
The first one the top 90 got pad, and I was around the 160 mark all tournament, then I allin'd with AA and won, putting me to 90th, so I just folded everyhand till oly 90 people was left, yes I lost chips but I wanted to be in the top 90 of 3000 in my first every poker game, then I later managed to finish 12th. Only getting 80p, but it's not really about the money, to me I was really happy with getting 12th out of 3000.
Then the other two I just played it slow like they do on TV and only play about 30% of my hands, which I found to work. and I managed to get 27th and 53rd in them.
Soon I will try buyins of £5 where people wont be as aggressive with their hands and see the skill gap, I have alot to learn but I feel getting in the top 90 out of 3000 3 times in 4 go's is good enough to try real money
