Considered this more of a value raise as he calls a lot vs 3bets but the sample might be too small but this combined w/ our smaller raise size since he opened 2x.

On the flop his raise polarises his range imo as I see his medium value simply calling in an attempt to make it to showdown so I opt for the call in order to make it to showdown myself.

If he bets that turn I'm not sure what would be best as the 7 isn't the best barrel card so if he bets i'd say it's for value but on the other hand i'm not sure how far he's willing to take his bluffs. Because the flop isn't the best for us so the fact that we bet/call should indicate a bit of strength to him but an unwillingness to stack off here might show that our hand can't the much pressure. It's a bit of a guessing game really.

On the river I don't see many flushes in his range so I opt to induce. I think his range is on the weak side and might be susceptible to inducer bets

Hi legand

Tricky spot here if you don't play the hand at all.

You 3-bet for what appears to be value preflop vs this fishy guys and then cbet small which can induce a bluff.

So first, I'd cbet larger on the flop and I think you could just 3-bet the flop for value after such a small cbet.

As played river is pretty marginal. I'd check and let him try to stab at it.

What size are you making the cbet? and as played what size 3bet with what plan later on in the hand?

Vs fishier guys we go with 2/3-3/4 most often for value if not closer to pot.

For 3-bet, $6.5 or so.
