Not cbetting flop vs this fish as I can see him calling wide even though our bet would be somewhat of a value bet there.His stats do indicate that he is wide and passive. Main plan is to check down to showdown expecting to be ahead a lot. I don't really want to narrow his range and be ahead less often.
On the turn we do hit 3rd pair and I can conceive this fold being a mistake but I don't see him trying to take the pot away/put pressure on our weak range (checking back flop and all) w/ much less than a better pair than ours. Of course this is based on a pretty small sample but at the time I preferred folding to turn bet as opposed to calling turn and having to call river a ton.
