MP: $20 (100 bb)
Hero (CO): $20.30 (101.5 bb)
BTN: $22.33 (111.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A Q
MP folds, Hero raises to $0.60, 2 folds, BB raises to $1.90, Hero calls $1.30

Flop: ($3.90) 9 4 3 (2 players)
BB bets $1.95, Hero calls $1.95

Turn: ($7.80) 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.90, BB folds

BB- 29/24 over 297 hands, AF 4.9

The turn bet doesn't really achieve much as we don't often fold out much that we don't already beat aside from some AK. Is it an option to save us from getting bluffed river. For that matter is it likely that a turn checkback induces?

Hi legand,

Well, the bet turn sets you up to try and take it on the river.

You are right that you generally don't fold almost any better hands. Even hands like AK would probably call you once.

Alternatively you can check back and play/call river.
