I tried to isolate the limper, but failed now i got multiway bloated pot with lower spr, next time i can opt for a limp behind. I flopped middle set, in villains range there is all kinds of KKxx but should fast play on flop. Turn i have another value bet but with the possible straight it is a clear bet fold i think. On river flush completes and the straight and the higher set is there so i did go for a check fold here. Villain let me see showdown....

I am fairly new to PLO, but I like how you played the hand. Question: If the opponent raises on the turn, would you fold the hand?

I am pretty much committed there on turn so i should have hoped to see a paired board on river. But thats the whole thing with isolating the limper pot sized and getting callers, thats the bigger mistake now i get in this not great situation.

you're right. on the turn you're pretty committed. What do you think would be better to bet less on the turn In order to do bet / fold ?. Or we would be just losing value?

this hand isn't bad for a multiway pot it is not as if you have thrash for example and u re in position..flop viĺain possibly is on the draw and I like your vb.Well turn and river welcome to PLO!If I know my opponent to be honest and not x-raise as a bluf I would bet something like half a pot ott.On the river if villain bets it's a fold

Half a pot ott is bad, cos it gives the opponent really good odds for drawing. Remember that the only way to make money in the long run is if opponents make more mistakes than you. Other way around, if opponent doesn't make a mistake in the hand, you haven't won any money in the long run.

If you bet half a pot ott, opponent pretty much gets the odds with a flushdraw and a gutshot. Even with just a bare flush draw he needs to get 1/3 of a pot as implied odds if the flush comes. If hero bets 0,50 ott and the pot is 2,06 otr and opponent donks for 0,50, can hero fold? If hero calls, opponent made +EV call ott and hero made a mistake. Meaning that in the long run hero will lose money and opponent will win.

I don't recommend to use half a pot bet ott unless you have the hand locked down.

So Kyyberi it seems that you're right..(the news would be if I was right and you were wrong!!) Villain is qetting 3-1 so he needs 25% pot equity to be break even.If he has a flush draw and a gutshot he is getting the right odds and if he has a flushdraw he has 20% pot odds so he needs to make 0.5/0.2-2=0.5$ more.The question is that if a flush comes on the river why do we have to call a river bet?There are no hands that villain has that we could win..

Let's say you have the straight ott and you bet half a pot. If the pot is 2$ otr, flush comes and opponent donks for 50c. If you fold here always when you don't have the flush (or a high flush as small flush is as good as the straight) your opponent can bluff everytime he has a hand that doesn't beat the straight. Sometimes, against bad players (that you don't have to think about balancing against), you can make exploitable folds but as an overall strategy that half a pot bet with vulnerable hand is bad.

I would never bet the straight half a pot in this board I would pot it.I would bet less than a pot(probably 3/4) two pair, a set or a good flushdraw.Someone would say that when I bet less than pot (and of course more than half-pot) my raise is capped which is true..But can my opponent exploit this fact?I think not.
Lets say that I have this range when I bet 3/4 pot ott:
TT,KT,AT,AA,KK,+good flush draws
My opponent would call with a range of:
TT,KT,AT,AA,KK
raise with
JQ(plus some good flush draws)
fold
Axxx,Kxxxx,plus all other flushdraws

Bellow are some equity simulations for the ranges mentioned:
Hero betting villain calling range

Board: T♠5♥K♠ A♣
              Equity    Wins    Ties
MP2: Preflop  49.19%  47.22%   1.97% { AT, KT, TT, AA, KK, As*s, TQs*s, KQs*s }
        Flop  49.47%  46.27%   3.21%
        Turn  47.66%  43.77%   3.90%
       River  47.66%  43.77%   3.90%
CO:  Preflop  50.81%  48.84%   1.97% { TT, KT, AT, AA, KK }
        Flop  50.53%  47.32%   3.21%
        Turn  52.34%  48.44%   3.90%
       River  52.34%  48.44%   3.90%

Hero betting villain folding

Board: T♠5♥K♠ A♣
              Equity    Wins    Ties
MP2: Preflop  55.94%  55.29%   0.65% { AT, KT, TT, AA, KK, As*s, TQs*s, KQs*s }
        Flop  64.09%  63.64%   0.45%
        Turn  71.58%  70.88%   0.70%
       River  71.58%  70.88%   0.70%
BU:  Preflop  44.06%  43.41%   0.65% { (A, K, *s*s)!(TT, KT, AT, AA, KK) }
        Flop  35.91%  35.46%   0.45%
        Turn  28.42%  27.72%   0.70%
       River  28.42%  27.72%   0.70%

Hero betting villain raising range

Board: T♠5♥K♠ A♣
              Equity    Wins    Ties
MP2: Preflop  53.24%  52.63%   0.61% { AT, KT, TT, AA, KK, As*s, TQs*s, KQs*s }
        Flop  56.00%  55.27%   0.74%
        Turn  21.64%  19.74%   1.90%
       River  21.64%  19.74%   1.90%
MP3: Preflop  46.76%  46.14%   0.61% { QJ, AsJs }
        Flop  44.00%  43.26%   0.74%
        Turn  78.36%  76.46%   1.90%
       River  78.36%  76.46%   1.90%

Hero is always MP2
Summary
So to sum it up.We get on the turn with a stack of 84.5bb and the pot is 53bb.We bet pot with QJ.We bet 3/4 pot with TT,KT,AT,AA,KK,+good flush draws.Our opponent calls if he has TT,KT,AT,AA,KK(he has more than 30% equity),folds with a range that consists of pairs weak flushdraws and weak two pairs and raises us with QJ.If villain raises us we have to call as we have 21% equity and our pot equity is exactly the same (pot equity=47/(84.5+84.5+53=0.21) .Any thoughts about that??

If you change your betsizing according to your and strength, it is easy for a goodish player to take your money.

So I should always pot it?Except when the board is static when I could bet something like 3/4 say.By the way thanks a lot Kyyberi for your feedback
