Hi guys, just wondering about this one.

Pre and flop are ofc super standard, but my plan here on the turn was to c/c and hope to sail my beautiful big boat on the river. Didn't think i'd get called by worse OTT, given that he insta called my flop bet..

As for the river, i wasn't sure about my sizing. We want to get it all-in ofc, but just wasn't sure if PSB plus a few clicks is better than just shoving against what appeared to be a fishy player (even though this was my first hand against him according to PT4!). Luckily he had what I hoped he had...

Nice read and well played. In my humble opinion this could indeed be a very good spot to make a big juicy overbet valueshove.

Have you seen this thread?

You've got quite a clear read on villain and I believe it is unlikely he will lay down (obviously in this spot he wouldnt have).

I have been experimenting with these overbet shoves otr myself and think they are a highly +EV thing to do, especially at NL 2 and NL 5.

On the other hand I have to say I like making them best when there has been a little more action on previous streets, making him a little more committed to the pot. Also, for your own certainty of him having a hand he's not willing to lay down for whatever price, more action on previous streets is nice when you consider overshoving the river.

As in this case this didnt't occur, I say to you: well played sir.

I think that if anyone is going to call you in this spot, he will be calling a push. So push is right.
