I like your flop bet for value vs his A high + draws, and the same for the turn bet. There is no need to triple barrel since we are betting for value, rather than as a bluff. Therefore I would check back most rivers, since after he calls a turn bet, he could have a better small pocket pair and we would be value betting ourselves.
can we potentially fold out 77-JJ with 3 shells? Although he's prob betting the flop with these for protection against overcards. Yeh I agree, no need for the 3rd shell.

I don’t think you can fold hands like 77-JJ with a triple barrel and isn’t indeed likely he played those hands passively on the flop. I expect you only let him fold missed draws on river, because the only hand your most likely play this way is 66 that player 2 lose against.

Yes, he would never play mid pocket pairs passively on the flop, as players tend to be to scared of getting outdrawn. I think he would even bet 22 and 33, so you should be happy betting yourself on the flop.
