Poker Stars, $1.40 Buy-in (40/80 blinds, 8 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 4 Players

SB: 818 (10.2 bb)
BB: 486 (6.1 bb)
CO: 1,399 (17.5 bb)
Hero (BTN): 297 (3.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7 9
CO raises to 1,391 and is all-in, Hero calls 289 and is all-in, 2 folds

Flop: (730) 5 Q K (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Turn: (730) 3 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: (730) 4 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

Results: 730 pot
Final Board: 5 Q K 3 4
CO showed A 2 and won 730 (433 net)
Hero showed 7 9 and lost (-297 net)

Please advise whether to call or not.

Suppose all the players play Nash. I have less than 3 tournament adjusted bb. I would risk some 2,5 ta bb to win 6 ta bb. My equity agaist CO range is quite good. But what is embarrasing is a quite high loss which calculates HRC in this hand.

I have moved your hand to the hand discussion board, because its fits better here.

I’m no hyper player, but I’m folding 97o after a shove of big stack on button without reads on him. Also I don’t think on the $1,50 stakes they play based on Nash. Most off the time they will play tighter I think.

Hopefully you get also feedback of hyper players.

Cheers,
