In this hand I 3b BU open from BB w K9s. Arguably a little light.
On the flop I cbet with my oesd, OC, bdfd, still in line with a made hand that is trying to protect.
On the turn, I make my straight. Of course I could bet, but I thought that would generate mainly folds because of the 4-card straight. I wanted a little more value for my concealed hand and checked. The idea was to represent a made hand that is now afraid of the board, thus enticing villain to bluff at this board, or at least get 1 more street of value at the river. Indeed, villain bets and I call, figuring c-raising would only get called by 9x. Also there are not so many bad cards for my hand that could come.
Disclaimer: Playing straightforward and betting seems like the normal thing to do, especially at these stakes, I am waiting for the shitstorm.
