Hello,
Villain was fairly aggro so I decided to raise preflop but only to 2BB since he was re-stealing fairly often. On the flop I hit my 9, which I guess is the perfect situation but I get ch/raise on a rather drawy flop. Now, he might protect with better than my top pair plus, his flush draws + 2 overcards still beat me. So I'm basically beating a bluff and a worst 9. Or a weird gutshot/open-ended.

And I have here another question, how would you play a JdTd or 9To if you were Villain?

Based on the stack sizes is this also a 9 man SNG and we play still 7 handed and 3 players get paid. So no bubble spot. Otherwise it would be a clear fold on the flop.

I don’t know what his re-steal % is, but I’m pretty sure based on only 43 hands that you don’t have a good sample on his re-steal stats. You need at least 10 times more hands to be sure about this. So I would raise a little bit more in the SB of 2,2/2,5x.

On this flop I expect your dealing with a draw or better hands. Without reads on him I would make a tight fold. I’m not sure what you mean that over cards still beat you, because your in front against those hands. Off course it can hit turn or river and it’s not to likely he will shove with that on the flop.

If I was your villain I would shove J♦:T♦: and only call with T9o. T9o you don’t get action of many worse hand if he shoved.
