SB: $8.41 (52.6 bb)
Hero (BB): $16.80 (105 bb)
UTG: $20.43 (127.7 bb)
MP: $17.94 (112.1 bb)
CO: $22.38 (139.9 bb)
BTN: $24.65 (154.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K 4
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.48, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.60, BTN calls $1.12

Flop: ($3.28) A 2 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.56, BTN raises to $3.12, Hero calls $1.56

Turn: ($9.52) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $4.48, Hero calls $4.48

River: ($18.48) A (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.12, Hero folds

Preflop: This would be a call against a minraise. Against 3x, I don't like calling and I like bluffing more than folding.

Flop: Hit a nut flushdraw and a gutshot. Had doubts between check/calling and cbetting. Decided to cbet because I have some fold equity if he doesn't have an ace. Then he raised. Not sure what to do there, but I probably have enough equity to shove + he might fold Ax.

Turn: Since I called the flop, this is a tough spot. I check/called again.

River: I'm probably beaten like a cat now, so I decided not to invest any cent more because I probably don't have even 5% equity, which the pot odds are.

BTN: 44/33/9 (VPIP/PFR/H)

This hand is 3 bet/fold vs 2x/2.5x open. When it is 3x - you fold.
More to that - villain is unknown.

I don't agree with that. Vs 2x, I think it's a standard call. I agree that vs 2,5x might be 3bet/fold and vs 3x fold.

As I wrote you, you are vs unknown and untill you collect info you can even fold it right away.

Thanks for all your comments on my posted hands.

My first leakbuster more or less indicated I would be better off if I just folded every big blind !!!

I understand that blind defence requires a bit of fighting back from time to time, and this requires the odd bluff for balance. I have too many other leaks so I am still overly tight from the blinds. Last week it was your K2 diamonds. So the hand starts as a bluff 3bet, and then becomes a bet draw, which gets re-raised. You could gamble here? or fold?
The turn misses and he doesn't really give you the odds to continue
Rare to see you two disagree (lol)

Thanks for dropping by! :f_grin:

Yeah, playing from the blinds always tough. Ideally, the CC% from the BB should be 25-26% (w34z3l's Red Line Rampage). That means that against BTN's 2x open raise we should 3bet bluff alot weaker hands than K4s. T4s is a standard call, for example (double2's 10 Tips to get out of the Micros). I'm not sure what to do with K4s to a bigger raise, but I believe that it could be a fold against 3x. In this hand I bluffed so I probably have to cbet the nut flushdraw (w34z3l's Walkthrough), but I believe the turn should be a check/fold.
