You never ever fold 100bb deep i NL Hold'em with the nut full. His range is anywhere from total air repping that paired 3f board to 5x to a SF. You beat that range.

i would also 3bet flop, micro players keep trying too hard to trap people. he has a hand he likes and people don't like to fold hands that they like

Thanks for the quick responses, 3bet flop would probably be good, but wouldn't you lose some value from his (semi-)bluffs that he could cbet with on alot of missed turns?

Not necessarily. You can steal pots rightly belonging to him, and you can still flop sets to make your life a party. But don't listen to me, I'm a total 3-bet monkey (especially preflop).

To put in plainly, you don't want a measly c-bet that may or may not be coming, you want his STACK.

Yeah we're all talking about flop, i would almost never 3b w 77 unless i have 2 nits on my left and if villain folds easily in EP especially with wide opening range (think 13% is still to tight)
Ok i'll try playing a bit more agressive in these kind of spots.

@YohanN7: I'm not ready to 3b bluff these low wet flops (not knowing how to follow up on T overcards and completed draws) if i don't hit a set or will villain fold here enough to be +EV. I think he would be able to 4b shove with strong draws + overcards keeping in mind that his range probably includes alot of these type of holdings.

Yeah, I did misunderstand. Still though, I play extremely aggressively preflop and on the flop. The general idea is to play loose and splashy on the cheap streets, and then tighten up on turn and river. It's great fun playing that style, and it does in the long run improve skills (as does every exercise in poker=)). But I don't always do it, only when I feel sharp (about once every month nowadays). You will have many more decision points, and need to do much more hand reading. What are we targeting with our bluff (because that is what it mostly is), how big a part of his range is it, and how much will it take to make him fold, etc.

Ok sounds very interesting, i'll give it a shot someday, when i have better skills and more confidence in my game! For the moment i'm focussing on +ev in more frequent spots and getting a stable winrate, i'm at 5bb/100 over 17k hands but small sample size and 400bb under EV line.

On that flop you should try to put all money in. Miraculously he raises you and gives you that opportunity.
