BB (BB): 425 - AGRESSIVE
Hero (SB): 575
Dealt to Hero: 7♦:8♠:
Hero calls 30, BB checks
Flop (60): A♦:2♠:6♦:
BB checks, Hero bets 32, BB calls
Turn (124): J♦:
BB checks, Hero bets 60, BB calls
River (244): 8♥:
BB checks, Hero bets 90

Villain is an agressive 3-better

Flop: Standard C-bet
Turn: Good barreling card. We have no showdown equity and people call small F c-bets a bit wider
River: I belive he should raise his Ax and flushes on the T. He might donk the R with a flush. So I belive his range is weak here, so I bet small to get a call from 6x or even 2x

I would ve played the same, except the sizing on the turn. I ussualy bet like 70-80 and shove on a favorable river( non diamond, higher than 6) but that depends a lot on the opponent`s profile.
He would have isos an ace... few Jacks that would have continued on that flop... so his range is pretty much caped on a 6,2 or some good diamond backdoor ( or nuts ovbsly) so I like that value on the river but you have to be aware if he`s adapting or not.

@berezovoya: a Jack is much more often in our range than his so I would recomend barreling on a turn > 6, especially if it opens some decent draw for us.

Cheers!

Hy pufarine and Berezovaya, thatnks a lot for your input.
I agree with you pufarine. Now that I have reconsidered it I would bet 80 on the T. He'd have 285 left and in the pot would be 280 and we could shove the river then like you said.

It’s difficult to Cbet on flop if you’re limping pre-flop :f_wink:
I’d like to raise pre-flop most of the time on the button.

Flop looks pretty standard and turn could be a good scare card for him. I would bet there also larger. River will be difficult to get him of much better hands with a small sizing. So I would go for showdown here.

Cheers,

Not much of a raising at HUhyper nowdays :) 78 fits perfectly in the limping range( shoving also)
