SB checks, Hero checks

River: (1,440) Q (2 players)

Results:

Spoiler

1,440 pot
Final Board: Q T 9 8 Q
SB mucked and won 1,440 (840 net)
Hero mucked 9 T and lost (-600 net)

I choose to limp here because I don't want to be 3betted and expect it from button and BB. On flop I should bet more something like 450. Turn is not a good card for me and I check behind for pot control. On river any Q any J and almost any T beats me. I dont expect Tx to bet but there is nothing I beat so I choose to fold.

If you don’t want to get a 3bet here it’s for me even better to fold right away with 2 <10bb stacks in it on the bubble.

As played I would bet larger indeed on the flop and fold the river as well.

Cheers,

I agree with SDK1987. Better fold if you are scared from 3-bet.
As played on flop bigger bet 450-500. You make the right comment why is better to fold on river. I agree with it we beat too few hands that will bet.
