BB: $11.68 (116.8 bb)
Hero (UTG): $9.12 (91.2 bb)
MP: $22.60 (226 bb)
CO: $10 (100 bb)
BTN: $10.87 (108.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6 6
Hero raises to $0.30, 4 folds, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.65) 8 7 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($0.65) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

River: ($1.45) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.10, BB raises to $3.88, Hero calls $2.78

Unknown villain

Flop - Not much FE so check
Turn - Didnt want to isolate myself against TJ so just called
River - K looks like good card for me to bluff and even if i had AK would be hard to call a check raise so CR looks like good option to villain

Should i raise-call turn?

Would you have called river?

Thanks

Hello,

first of all, why hero hasn´t a full stack? :-)

Flop - it´s true that flop is quite coordinate here. On the other hand I expect BB PF calling range could be broadway heavy so maybe cbet here can be succesful in decent percent of time. Also we can still have the best hand after villain call and we build a pot when we hit.

Turn - I like raise here. We still have value from his FDs, sets. If he 3bet I would be pretty unhappy but I guess we cannot fold.

River - I don´t know how people play on stars NL10 but after his raise I can´t imagine we are good here enough often time. Even if he puts as to a bluff he has to bluff himself. Maybe if sou see people on your limit do similar x/r R bluffs with busted FD, than call will be OK but I doubt about it. I expect that he just bet his bluffs OTR. On the other hand JT can be reasonable x/r because if he bet, it will be difficul for you to call without 6. And how many 6 you have in UTG range?

Also river sizing should be imho lower when we want to extract some value.

I'd prefer betting the flop, our hand needs protection and after betting we can just checkback a lots of turns.

Flop bet can be made.
On the river I would make a 1/2 bet and fold vs the raise.
